The library at RIMC has a collection of more than 12,000 books. The library is named after one of the old boys of the institution, Major Somnath Sharma who was awarded with the first Param Vir Chakra which is the highest gallantry award in India. Open shelf system is maintained in the library so that students can freely select the books of their choice. There are books related to various categories like Science fiction, Psychology, Social studies, Economics, Travel, History, Science, Astronomy, Mathematics, English Literature, Sports, Hindi and English languages.
